Cangzhou Giant Auto Parts Co., Ltd., a leading domestic enterprise in commercial vehicle AMT clutches, announced that its independently developed AMT two-piece self-adjusting clutch driven disc has achieved mass production and been successfully matched with mainstream domestic heavy-duty truck brands.

According to the latest 2026 Clutch Driven Disc Industry White Paper released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), although pure electric vehicles do not require traditional clutches, the explosive growth of hybrid electric vehicles is driving the entire industry to embrace structural opportunities.

China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (CAERI) announced today that it has jointly developed a new-generation clutch driven disc dedicated to hybrid electric vehicles together with leading domestic auto parts enterprises. Core performance indicators have achieved leapfrog improvement, marking that China has broken overseas technological monopoly in the core components of hybrid transmission field.
